In fact you'd have to be pretty goddamn desperate to try and equate the light punch received by Richard Spencer, public figure and leader of a major hate movement, with the beating, doxxing, death threats, and total loss of privacy experienced by this woman, a powerless rando who made a dumb internet post.

To my knowledge, Richard Spencer's personal information is not currently being traded around online by a bunch of racist mouth-breathers, nor is he being contacted nonstop by people who know where he lives and say they are coming to kill him. Pictures of him are not currently being traded on 4chan by men who are talking about how they are going to rape him. He is probably not going to be forced to go into hiding for the foreseeable future, and in fact he has several more public appearances lined up. Two months after being love-tapped on live TV, Spencer is still wealthy, powerful, influential, and protected from harm. This woman is not any of these things. Instead she's the thing the alt-right loves more than anything else: an easy target.

No wonder the sworn defenders of Free Speech are so thrilled about cutting her life to shreds because she Free Speeched the wrong way.
