Weird. Back when I first started seeing Infowars videos the set and Jones himself reminded me of some 90s FMV. Not Sewer Shark necessarily, probably more like Red Alert, but it's nice to see that someone else not only had the same thought, but followed through with it!

He would have been great in a Command & Conquer cutscene

infinite zest - 2017-04-19 Yup released in 1992! I always thought it was later because that industrial fallout style was pretty much every music video circa 1995. Or maybe that was when the Sega CD became accessible to the non-super-rich and more people that I knew had one around then. Speaking of price, a copy of the Sega CD one is going for 70 bucks. I remember one summer when my local Blockbuster was doing one of their annual sidewalk sales and were selling all their Sega CD games for 5 dollars or less. Fuck the stock market, just go back in time and invest heavily on random unpopular expensive shit and wait 23 years!

Kickstart this now.

infinite zest - 2017-04-19 Hindsight's 20/20 but I kinda miss FMV games, or at least games with FMV elements. I mean, we have QTE events now, and things generally move smoother, but honestly I'd rather see actual live video if you're going to plunk a well-known actor in there instead of painstakingly trying to recreate it, which always looks weird. 50 years from now celebrity renderings in games will probably still look wrong to me. Plus if games are costing more and making more than movies now, imagine the production values they could work with!

Done perfectly in that Alex Jones apathetic approach to the future manner.
