Mom had some kidney surgery that went way wrong. Doctors said she was as far gone as far gone gets. So they were calling in a priest and everything. But mom pulled through somehow. She's almost an entirely different person now personality wise and she's lost a lot of memories. Like my later school years? (1993-1996) Those are gone and she doesn't remember. She doesn't have any problems with recent or even long term memories now but it was like random things on a hard drive erased forever.
