I was really in to building this kind of stuff when I was 9 and the local movie theater got a Marble Madness machine, but all I had to work with was heavy posterboard, staples and tape so they weren't nearly this elaborate.
On the other hand, using prefabricated parts does kind of seem like cheating.
And finally, thanks for the criminally underused "porno groove" tag.
