This looks not shitty!

Five stars for No Matt Leblanc.

SolRo - 2018-02-23

it doesn't look like anything. is so vague that anyone can project any opinion on it.

Xenocide - 2018-02-23

Oh boy, a Mass Effect movie.

SolRo - 2018-02-23

Oh boy, a Friends In Space movie!

Maggot Brain - 2018-02-23

No one ever tolled you that Mars will be this way *clap, clap, clap*

Maggot Brain - 2018-02-23

Still waiting for that Pink Lady revival, Netflix.

Xenocide - 2018-02-23

Why are you making a Lost in Space show if you're not going to make it goofy as hell? Lost in Space was a show about a panicky old pederast and his pet boy going to planets where they would get put on trial by giant talking carrots.

This? This is just the propaganda film they're going to show on the day Elon Musk discovers life on Neptune and decides to subjugate it as a source of cheap labor.

Well, there's clearly an accident that causes them to lose their way in the cosmos. At this point, I hope their humanity - their stupid, ridiculous humanity - comes out. The universe isn't a place of hope and promise. It's a set of dimensions containing meaningless particles, and everything besides that is the product of sparking meat lumps called brains. Without contact with humanity with all its hopes and dreams and ascribing of meaning to every damn thing, they're just a bunch of people struggling to survive among that which they can only deem bizarre. Oh the pain... the pain of it ALL!

Written by people that view the 1960s Batman as cheesy and bad, instead of campy and fun.

garcet71283 - 2018-02-23

Also, why Parker Posey as Dr. Smith?

Netflex already has a gay, aging pederast on their payroll, and he's no longer on House of Cards so...

Seven Arts/H8 Red - 2018-02-23

Batman '66 was meant from the start as a lampoon taking cues from the 1940s Batman serials. By comparison, Irwin Allen earnestly wanted to make contemporary sci-fi TV, eventually retooling his shows to keep costs down and derp them enough for the rerun market.

tl;dr trailer is unduly reverent and looks like someone remembered Enterprise exists

This is why I canceled my netflix subscription. The streaming service is stuffed with "original content" that is so bland and unappetizing they could have just recorded close ups of different bowls of oatmeal for 2 hours at a time and I wouldn't have known the difference.

TeenerTot - 2018-02-23

Whaaaa?
eh, i'll probably watch it.

garcet71283 - 2018-02-23

Jonathan Harris > Gary Oldman > Parker Posey.

Stars are for evil.

Rosebeekee - 2018-02-23

...I thought you were joking. That's a very, uh, odd choice.

memedumpster - 2018-02-23

Oh man, speaking of worse reboots to follow.

TheyUsedDarkForces - 2018-02-23

Five stars for making "danger Will Robinson" sound dark and ominous.

Xenocide - 2018-02-23

Ten bucks says the robot turns evil and "Danger, Will Robinson" is meant as a threat.

garcet71283 - 2018-02-23

Ten bucks it's not even a robot anymore and is a computer in control of a bunch of quadcoptor drones.
