No one knows just what I've been through
I can't stop the pain inside me
Now I'm staring out my window
Children play, they seem so happy
Why are we here, going nowhere?
Why does my life feel so empty?

I'm so fucking glad this generation doesn't have to deal with ubiquitous inescapable commercial jingles.
Sometimes, when I wake up in the middle of the night, "You'll look better in a sweater washed in Woolite!" drifts through my brain like a creepy child's laughter in a horror movie.

jfcaron_ca - 2018-03-24 At Kroger grocery stores in Texas, they would play their own commercial jingles (and also for GreenSheets) over the PA system.
They also very conspicuously alerted all the staff for half-hourly "freshness checks", but the staff also conspicuously ignored all these announcements. I think those announcements were for the customers.

This is like something they'd use on captives at those CIA blacksites.

Concentrated Cat.
I like the cats singing along to the Meow Mix song, that's the old style animal talking used before CGI, using forward and reversed film loops.
You don't see that technique much today, but I still like it, it was used in The Shaggy DA to make the Dogs talk, and recently in Pup Star, a lighter touch of it along with CGI.
Film reversal and looping a section of video is so easy to see, the brain picks it out fast, and it immediately looks strange, alien.
