The real divide in society nowadays is a class divide (like in most of history) Any purported schisms along other lines: race, sex, etc. are bullshit and probably encouraged by the rich, who are the true enemy.

I think his spiel was probably edited in after with some well-picked reaction shots of Kanye.

If you're saying that Kanye is.complicit in the footage of Kanye being told.off', well I doubt that, but if so, I count that as better than an apology.

There's something about this that I sympathize with, almost admire. As an artist, he says that he wants to represent the world, and right now he seems to be representing white supremacists.

And look, as John Oliver once said, part of me likes Trump. He reminds me of my crazy uncle Jimmy., who died at the age of 45 nearly 45 years ago. There's a story about him that makes him come off as incredibly racist AND an incredible baddass. Too much typing for the phone.

I miss my Uncle Jimmy and I wish I'd known him better. If he came back, I'd be happy to see him, but if he ran for president, I would not vote for him.

If you think Trump is a terrible human being, well, there's an argument to be.made, but the point is that he's a terrible president. I don't want to judge his humanity.
