"Here's a letter from Billy in Detroit, Michigan. He asks, 'why are you so obsessed with anthropomorphizing inanimate objects, then making those objects evil? You use that plot, like, every fourth episode!'"

This show was always extra weird because one of the main characters was voiced by Mark Dailey, who was a Toronto newscaster and had a very recognizable voice. It was weird having the voice of a TV station on this show.

Cena_mark - 2018-05-29 You act like Toronto and Milwackee are the centers of the universe. They're not.

If you were on Spumco’s snail mail mailing list, you got a torturous physical newsletter every quarter about the development of this for over a decade. Endless, rapturous details of Jimmy the Idiot Boy’s creation and backstory, and bottomless Spumco self-pity.

As a kid, if I told my parents i can't wait to see the Ripping Friends "rip evil a new one" I'd have one less show I'd be allowed to watch.

I forget which clip on here has John K talking about Ripping Friends and why it will appeal to kids but it's pretty painful. It's a miracle John K had such success with season 1 of Rem and Stumpy because everything he has touched since suggests that he has no idea how other people actually experience the world.

Old_Zircon - 2018-05-29 Autocorrect really nailed it on that one.
I would watch Rem and Stumpy
