The inside looks pretty amazing tho. I suppose u'd eat the inside and leave the crust, which does seem pretty wasteful considering it is made from pasta.

Well, they're mostly in the bowl when you bake it, so only the ones on top (bottom) would be crispy.

Make a pastry crust for the outside layer (still keep noodles on the inside).
