Well, I guess the hover hand betrays a fear of girls but at least it's un-intrusive and non-presumptive.

I once got a picture with Ms. New Bedford (!) at a clam chowder festival (!). I put my arm around her shoulder but kinda made a neutralish fist to convey a kind of buddy embrace so as not to spook her security guy (!).

My 90s self would call all the people lamers. It's like the common nerd ancestor started branching in 80s or 90s as the internet became more wide spread into various species and sub species evolved, with this group as a direct descendant of AOL users who *liked* having a nickname with numbers appended to the end.

Ignore me.

You aren't alone.

Fuck I've never felt older

Ehh, this doesn't feel much different to me than early 90s MTV bullshit, it's just that now all of the actual performers have been outsourced so it's slightly worse.

Even as someone who's spent way too much time playing video games, I not only never understood the appeal of watching other people play games, but donating money to them while doing so.

I read the top Fortnite streamer makes half a mil per month.

Not that Esports aren't complete bullshit but when you think about it, we basically do the same to watch a bunch of strangers play sportsball every time you pay for a ticket.

Ninja probably makes closer to $1mil a month playing Fortnite. He was on Ellen, so.......that's something.
