Growing up in the 80s I had in my household a whole bunch of B.C. comic books and I read all of them. My dad always said that B.C. at one point was cutting edge comedy, up until Johnny Hart found Jesus. Same with the Wizard of Id.

Chicken the Did - 2018-12-08 Plus as somebody who likes snakes the whole gag where the fat cave lady beats up the snake because 'lol, snakes are the devil!' never sat well with me. (Why not have them burn some witches next?) But yeah, that doesn't hold a candle to the comic you mentioned.

This made me so very sad & angry when it came out because the B.C. Thanksgiving Special was pure genius and one of the highlights of my childhood.
