I didn't really need to watch this ad past the Obsidian logo to want to buy this thing.

I would play this game if I had a PS4. Might have to get one of those things someday.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2018-12-10 What? why would u want to make yourself utterly beholden to Sony? Only able to play / do what they permit.
Get a pc, and play whatever u want (including console exclusive games on emulators), with mods, also all the *best* games, which are pc exclusive (eg Zachtronic industry games, factorio) as much pirate games / software as u want.
Also u can use it for anything else u want, video editing, *making* your own games and software, making music, etc etc.
Also u dont need to buy a new one every console cycle, you can just upgrade the components you need.
heres a pretty good looking one for $600

Kid Fenris - 2018-12-10 But can it play Gravity Rush 2?
|
Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2018-12-11 Kid Fenris..
Gravity Rush 2 seems to be a a PS4 exlusive, so right now u can probably play it on PC, and soon, certainly.
The PS4 is pretty much a Linux box (The OS is actually just FreeBSD with minor modifications) with mediocre but quite standard hardware.
So emulating it is going to be a piece of piss. Theres already a working emulator.
https://pcsx4.com/
"PCSX4 is a semi open-source research project for emulating PlayStation 4/Pro games on Windows and macOS. The first and the only PS4 emulator allowing you to play PS4 games on both PC & Mac. PCSX4 is written in C++, It can run most of the PS4 exclusives on high end machines. There will be frequent releases which you can grab from download section."

Kid Fenris - 2018-12-11 I don't see it listed on the compatibility chart at all.
Also, playing it on the PC would mean downloading a ROM and I'd have to delete it within 24 hours or else I'd be breaking the law.
|
Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2018-12-11 @Kid Fenris
" Please note that the compatibility status of these games are based on logs/data sent by users and the list does not contain all the games that are supported by the emulator because we can’t test each and every title."
I saw 'Gravity Rush remastered' listed as playable anyway.
as for this ... "downloading a ROM and I'd have to delete it within 24 hours or else I'd be breaking the law"
I dunno which countries laws you are citing, but regardless, its almost certainly giant out of control corporations like Sony who lobbied / bribed to have those laws enacted in the 1st place.

Good for them, I can't say I was a massive fan of Pillars, but at least they're getting better with each iteration.
I was the only guy talking trash about Fallout 3 when it first came out I thought that game was boring as fuck. It took some convincing for me to get into New Vegas but after I did, yeah that game was way better but the god-awful Fallout 3 inventory system really dragged it down.
I have my reservations about this game because it looks so much like Fallout 3, I'm afraid they kept the bathwater with the baby.

But will I get to kill a CEO?
And will it be easy enough that I could do it with one hand operating the controls?

Hopefully it'll be better than the piece of shit worldmap we got for fallout new vegas. Good writing, bad everything else.
