So long and thanks for all the military secrets

blue vein steel - 2019-04-30

to be fair, the US Navy used dolphins to hunt mines, but i think that program ended over a decade ago.

dubz - 2019-04-30

That program is still going strong. They even give tours!

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2019-05-02

That was one of The Onion's finest moments. Their "man on the street" commentary for that was, "So I stopped eating tuna because of the dolphins and now we're just blowing them to shit?"

We need to triple our whale spending.

Zoot42 - 2019-05-01

We need to have special drones piloted by whales in secret underwater whale bases.

Maggot Brain - 2019-05-01

"we have the best whales, they're blue and bik- Like, really, really bik. Like, huge. They're the best! we love our bik blue whales and I'm ganna put them back to work!"

blue vein steel - 2019-05-01

Our soft on Russia policies have allowed for a significant whale gap to develop.

cognitivedissonance - 2019-05-01

The only solution is to let the DeVos family have whale hunting licenses.

boner - 2019-05-01

Are they ill-tempered?

Killer Joe - 2019-05-01

Seems pretty darn pleasant actually. Kinda reminds me of those stories about police dog candidates that they have to 'fire' cause they're too friendly.

blue vein steel - 2019-05-01

My understanding is most cetaceans are pretty friendly with humans. They don't see you as a threat, and seem to understand that you're also a mammal. There are reports of them protecting divers from sharks and things like that. You probably don't want to piss off a killer whale though, those things eat great whites.

Old_Zircon - 2019-05-01

Are they rapey like dolphins?

Old_Zircon - 2019-05-01

This is a Russian beluga, it's just wearing a camera in case insurance scammers jump out in front of it.

badideasinaction - 2019-05-01
