I’ve fainted a few times:
- During a cadaver opening. I was staring too closely at the inside of the guy’s rib cage, which was propped up like a car hood on a stick.
- Walked to the bathroom one night while still sleepy, blood drained from my head and I banged my head falling over the toilet tank.
- Weightlifting, yes. Everything was fine until I took a step forward, and I thought I was going to puke but that was my brain losing blood.
It’s an unnerving experience to faint. You feel like your body is just dead weight and your mind sees it very slowly. Then you wake up on the floor. It’s what I expect death will be like.

Two Jar Slave - 2019-06-05 Twice as a teen:
- Stood up after playing Starcraft on a 56k modem for a couple hours. When I woke up, the phone was off the hook and I had a bruise developing on my head.
- Walked out of the hot tub on my uncle's back deck. Made it as far as the living room. When I came to, there was a circle of faces looking down at me, like in a movie. Made me laugh.
Turns out I wasn't eating enough.

Those were the only times. Fainting is for girls!
