Trump's biggest advantage in 2016 was that no one outrside the Cult imagined that it could ever really happen. Like James Comey said, explaining his decision to announce the investigation of Clinton a few weeks before the election, "I was living in a world where Hillary Clinton would be president."

We were all living in that world. So it was okay for networks to make easy money by running Trump's rallies without commentary, filling up hours of content. okay for Obama to acquiese to Moscow Mitch's refusal to cosign a statmement about Russian Interference, and, for millions who were'nt that psyched about Hillary, it was okay to not vote. This is one big reason why I don't think he'll be re-elected.

I'm not saying he WON'T be reelected I'm optimistic, but Trump MIGHT win, and if he wins that would be a disaster. Not only because he is an incompetent sociopathic criminal, but because the worst thing that could happen to us is if future politicians think of Trump as a model for success. That is what will doom us forever.

Actually, I'm terrified. But optimistic.

Three days after Piece of Shit Tucker Shit Carlson denied that White supremacists were a force in America, CNN put Richard Spencer on TV. I don't know what CNN could have done that would have been a better way to dispute Carlson than to put a real white supremacist on TV.

I think we should feel free to criticize the media, but people are too quick to condemn "THE MEDIA" as if it was all one entity, and all bad. THE MEDIA is being attacked in classic fascist style as THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, forced to process an unprecendented fire hose of government lies, and the traditional business model is melting down. There are people in the media who are the worst kind of whores, and there are peoiple who risk and even lose their lives in the pursuit of truth, even as resources dwindle, and bean counters rule over all.

My dad was a part of THE MEDIA, a local reporter covering the local courts for decades It was an important service, letting people know what their government was doing, letting the government know that it was being watched.. Fuck, Cody , you're part of THE MEDIA, aren't you?
