Why?

This game was bad even for the time. It was only slightly notable for being one of the earliest games to do the cel shaded look, with a couple extra points for the comic book style presentation.

Other than that, the gameplay was terrible even by 2003 standards. Like, Goldeneye singleplayer terrible.

Not to mention that, in trying to "update" the graphics, they made the look fall into this uncanny valley where it's still sort of trying to look cel shaded, but everything now looks "realistic" enough that it loses any kind of stylized look.

So they ruined the one and only appeal of the game.
