I developed a physical disability and she used that as an opportunity to get rid of me. The company has something called "reasonable accommodation where they try to place you in a job you're both qualified for and that meets your medical restrictions.

They made me a cashier. It's tedious & repetitive, but at least I get to sit down all day. So I'm still with the company but in a different department.

I also recently learned she's no longer with the company. I don't know if she quit or was fired. There are rumors, but no hard facts.

Sorry, Binro, that sounds like shit. As for me, similar thing, and yes I escaped and am now very happy.

I kept looking for jobs at other companies the whole time she was my manager, but the local economy sucks.

Now I'm 50 and have a physical disability. Odds of me getting hired anywhere are slim to none.

Like so many other working class people nowadays, I'll keep going until they fire me then hope I can get on disability.
