I honestly figured it would be easier to just write some bullshit book, possibly attempt some sort of network or streaming service and just ride out the rest of whatever is left of his horrid life on the podcast circuit holed away in his gaudy tower or tacky golf course resort nightmare.

i think it's more about keeping the sword of damacles hanging over the heads of the rest of the republican party. this keeps his base all frothy and rabid and willing to shred anyone who dares deviate from precious perfect father's party line

It’s to scam donations to pay his debts, just like continuing to call the election rigged. The red idiots are throwing a lot of money at him to “save America!!!”

And it takes way less effort than writing a book or doing a show 5 days a week. He can spend most of the day golfing, post rando crazy solcial media for an hour or two at night, rise/repeat.
