Aldous Huxley and Stephen Hawking have both proposed that humanity can't survive UNMODIFIED, and we're going to have to make some pretty serious biological changes to the human organism if we want to continue as a civilization.

Huxley's suggestion was chemistry to mitigate our worse natures, the dumb shit like territoriality, tribalism, male aggression. Hawking's was to upgrade our brains with microchips. I say, let's do both!
