Chicken the Did - 2021-04-20 After clicking on the Tooncritic Skype Meltdown video here YouTube started recommending some disturbing shit to me.
At first it was an endless sea of talking, crying avatars giving their take on the situation. Then it started to get fucked up. You suddenly had avatars giggling about the controversy and blaming it on the obvious culprit: Liberalism and LGBT people! With the tone of "See?! See?!" this is what tolerance gets you!" Followed by Mr. Metoker style roasts of LGBT figures associated with the fandom. Because somehow a white, heterosexual male preying on children was their fault. Obviously there were problems in the fandom that only Fascism(tm) could fix! But no matter how ridiculous that argument sounds it started bringing in acolytes in droves.
