I appreciate this game in the meta sense of eventually taking a total left turn from being a straight FF7 remake.
But in a practical sense, all the dialog and cutscenes are the very worst marriages of banal, overwrought, and awkward that's been the Square brand for the last 20 years.

Half the fun for me was spending hours grinding so I could 'One Punch Man' 👊 bosses. Like humiliating Seifer Sephiroth by unleashing Knights of the Round and causing him to detonate before the first stanza of One Winged Angel finished. The whole boss gauge thing in the remake would rob me of my autistic joys.

Soeaking of which, I never saw a single limit break my first playthrough beyond the first 2nd level ones. It made way more tactical sense to stick with lvl 1 and get your gage filled faster for the instant action bar fill.
But the game never told you that the only way to get new limit breaks was to keep using your strongest ones. :(
