The Mothership - 2021-11-10 looks to me like he stayed in the cab of the truck for a long time and wouldn't come out. It's night time when they stopped him, it's morning daylight when they got him to come out so the cops were probably freaked cause he wasn't responding even after he was caught dead to rights.
They didn't kill his ass, so it's a win-win for everybody!
