I can't even imagine having that much money to blow like that. Jesus fucking christ.

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2021-12-02

Just because he lost it doesn't mean that he could afford to lose it.

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2021-12-02

I can't tell anymore. Are those female croupiers real people or, like, virtual girls?

snothouse - 2021-12-02

I -think- it's real actors pre-filmed that then have auto-generated virtual card faces.

First 5 seconds has her (I think) responding to the "I'm in love" chat message.

Why would anyone trust this shit?

Simillion - 2021-12-03

why does the first girl rub the jack card repeatedly against an obvious sensor?

So that the next card drawn can be optimal for a win, perhaps?

What an obvious scam

Simillion - 2021-12-03

the smile she has is just too perfect. she knows what she's doing and she seems to enjoy it.

extreme levels of evil detected

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2021-12-03

Simply recieving money from willing suckers is not evil imo.

Simillion - 2021-12-03

Yeah well I have seen gambling ruin a family member with mental illness and everything about the industry knowingly would take advantage of these folks with minimal shame about what they do, so I consider it as evil as a company dumping its toxic waste in a river, they inflict a form of poison on society for personal gain. I do not mind that there are people willing to throw their cash away for a hopeless endeavor but I do hate all the lies made by such companies to encourage it.

I would much rather pay 5 or 10 dollar micros for small gifts like art for my online avatars and get 'addicted' to that or any other frivolous expenditure than have this kind of unrestricted transaction for chance of gain even be legal (esp considering it is an obvious scam).

Bootymarch - 2021-12-03

Casinos get people wasted for free so they make terrible financial decisions, among other things. They are absolutely not ethical.

Bootymarch - 2021-12-03

It's still in a casino's interest to have *some* winners. I'm sure they have a bigger advantage than a normal blackjack game; I don't know that it's an outright scam. These kids get like 6 figure a month deals to gamble on stream. People have claimed that the websites inflate the odds of the slot machines for them so it looks like they hit all the time.

Simillion - 2021-12-04

the casino industry exposes out there (easy to find) all have long ago confirmed that casinos knowing adjust odds of winning in literally every game they have. They need to win more on average to get a profit of any kind.

... okay I'm gonna say it. I kinda can't believe that I have to explain why casinos are evil.

I've been wondering, in this country in particular (but it is a global phenomenon) if people are becoming less able to identify the ethical problems that we would commonly define as "evil." I think the sentiments and the presence of people who enjoy watching a stream of a gambler confirms (through the sheer number of people who I am sure watch this shit, seeing the six figure budget they get), that humanity is indeed losing its capacity to recognize lies, deceit, scams, and unethical profits, and that could be used as an objective measurement of the degradation of society.

Simillion - 2021-12-04

allow me to add: CAPITALIST society, as the core and inevitability of these phenomena, across the globe, are all constructs of the cash-based societies we have.

Simillion - 2021-12-04

If you want just one example of how gambling industries are ethically dubious, just watch the literal video posted before this one, Sega and the (Actual) Yakuza! :D I'm done

Nominal - 2021-12-06

You're dropping the existence of house advantage like it's an atomic bomb revelation?

Your ranting against casinos comes off like a prohibitionist ranting against beer commercials.

jangbones - 2021-12-09

at least he handled it really well
