Didn't watch until the end, so I'm just going to assume the guy became a virtuoso of Dr. Novelty's Pointlessly Complicated Contraption, and in a fit of rage the Doctor plays it with the kids face until it breaks while the camera guy laughs and has a wank.

Amazing instrument. There are a few really interesting pieces written for it, and I wish I could get one but it's not really the cost that makes me not want to buy it, it's how fragile it is and how clumsy I am.
