We're far beyond having to tolerate out of touch stand up comedians pontificating about the news of the day.

I can't stand oversimplification of complicated things. We had an unprecedented pandemic. We had to spend. We also had to spend a lot to shore up the economy in 2008 just as we did recently. Overspending does lead to inflation. We did overspend.

The problem is not exactly with overspending, but a lack of revenue. Taxing the wealthy will help, but won't be enough. We need more tax revenue across the board. We need to make deep spending cuts to the military.

But that won't happen.
