I was conciously trying to judge it on it's own merit and not knock it for being an obvious RvsB wannabe...and it was going ok for the first bit...boring after the title screen.

The idea of a show that takes place on a submarine written and acted by navy guys is really interesting. "The Office" in a submarine, yay! I wish this was what it was. It's not very funny or interesting, I guess because I don't want to watch a bunch of squids talking over uneventful video game cutscenes.

I have heard of these things called "pacing" and "timing" and "audio quality that doesn't make understanding your characters a painful chore."
