I sort of dislike every individual element of Venture Bros, I dont like the animation, the human/cringe element to the screenplays, I dont get most of the references (eg. I'd never even *heard* of Johhny quest) and the ones I do are to stuff I'm not really into (eg. all their music refs eg. david bowie) it's like it was made for anti-me. Yet it still won me over and I really like it for the characters and story. Some other random reasons its good..
1. Story moves along a a decent auld clip (Take note anime!!!)
2. Writers actually respect their own work and remember what happened in previous episodes.
3. Seems like a labour of love by creators, like this is something they really wanted to make, rather than just doing whatevers popular.

ps. I gave it a really good chance, cus ye guys on poetv were constantly creaming ure panties about it.. I think it was this bit from this episode that finally made me get off the fence from 'I guess I'll watch this' to 'ok this is great'.

I thought that the opening scene from the next episode was funny: Rusty wakes up the morning after the prom and it turns out that he still slept with one of the women he turned into a fly.

Roofies save the day!

I love the intro to Season 2 with the montage of Brock looking for Rusty set to the song "Everybody's Free".

"This is Skye. We're going to have a child!"

(Hatred sits on a toilet with his dick hanging out, brings out a giant cellphone to show Dr. MTM a text message)

Dr MTM: "Wow. That's a big cellphone."

Hatred (Indignantly): "I'm a big boy!"

My favorite part in Venture Bros. was when the show introduced a female character who wasn't a love interest or a one-off joke.
