You are aware that the Democratic Party leadership very much did not want Fetterman, right? Fetterman had a fully operational campaign and was doing great in the polls, and Democratic leadership recruited and funded an empty suit (Conor Lamb) to run against him in the primary. Because even though Fetterman has given every indicator that he will play nice with the establishment and do all the normal lib shit that's expected, because he is like 1% closer to the populist left they spent millions to take him out.
