Spam gets such a bad reputation, but I find having a few cans in the pantry is never a bad idea in case you have an extended power outage. It also works well for camping, but I would rather just pre slice the spam in bags to save weight and then you don't have to deal with taking the can out as trash. It's really not bad if you heat it up with a little water so it doesn't burn and you add some cheese and bread to it. I prefer mayo to butter, but hot butter with spam would not be bad at all.
