Bladerunner was the only "robots as opposed other" story to do it right. Everything else, the attempt was so embarrassing that it ends up undermining the argument for any real world allegory.

I don't play many games these days either, but Detroit: Become Human seemed like a semi-big deal 3-4 years ago and sold a few million copies.
