And then you'd take one second and wonder whether your history of stellar cleanup jobs is why this landed your lap, or what the fuck could you have possibly done to piss off your boss.

Now take this video, where this dame with a horseshoe in her nose...I know you're not supposed to say "dame" to describe a young lass anymore, and I don't understand why horseshoes go into a human filly's nose when the broad's nose isn't a horse's foot...but anyway, she's holding headphones up to her mouth while she talks. Maybe that's what the young people these days call "audio engineering," but this really confuses me. Back in my day, if we wanted to make our audio sound nicer for our YouTube or our Blip videos, we would invest in what was called a 'Blue Yeti' microphone. Or, if we didn't have $130 to spend on a Blue Yeti, we would go to this place called Staples, or Office Max, and we would buy a cheap little piece of plastic that was also called a microphone. It stood on your desk like this, and you talked into it like this. And if your audio sounded bad, you could download this free program called Audacity and run tasks with fancy words like 'normalize' and 'compress.' But I guess young trim these days can't be bothered to get up and spend money on an actual microphone instead of holding headphones sideways, or even click 'Add to Cart' on Amazon, because I guess they're still dreaming of their utopia where currency doesn't exist and goods and services are distributed by the government.
