Tesla deserves a lot of love, but also deserves a lot of hate. Full disclosure as I own a long range Model 3, but there are the things I like, and things I hate.

I can't stand Elon Musk and I think Tesla could be run better by someone else. Yet, he was able to get a giant electric car company off the ground and it's gone further and farther with electric cars than any other major automobile manufacturer ever has. I guarantee you even with gas prices where they are today, we would not have had as many EVs on the road if it weren't for Tesla.

I've had only minor issues with my car, and yes it does some weird stuff every now and then with Autopilot and I do have to reboot the infotainment system sometimes. Yet, I've had issues with other models and their adaptive cruise control and lane assist, and I've seen plenty of reboots and issues with Apply Carplay. Yes there are some QA issues that must be addressed, and I think supercharging networks need to be more ubiquitous and less tesla only.

Yet, out of the dozens of cars I've driven and owned, it's legitimately the most comfortable and quiet car I've ever had. It's remarkably easy to operate. The voice commands do pretty much most things I need to do without having to go to the menu. The autopilot is incredibly useful. It accelerates like a bat out of hell. I've got plenty of storage/trunk space. It's very fast to charge at home. Scheduling service has been easy. Buying it was the most painless car buying experience I've ever had, and I never want to go to a dealership anymore.

If Tesla gets rid of Musk, they fix the QA issues, and they come up with a 25k dollar car, they will absolutely obliterate the market. If they do just ONE of those things they will.

Tesla fanboys are pretty annoying, I get it. A lot of people sub the tech for learning how to drive, but there are stereotypes all over the place for BWM drivers, Jag drivers, lifted trucks, minivans, corvettes, etc.

Don't let confirmation bias get in the way.
