A *self-proclaimed* genius who also just so happens to luck into a load of money has got to be one of the most insufferable kinds of people who can exist.

Also Askia did seem to be a naive fool tbh. Seems like he bought into the whole USA/startup/crypto/finance/elon musk zone of bullshit. Wtf was he thinking digging random tunnels alone with garbage equipment? How could that seem like even a reasonable step towards anything sane?

yeah, this was a very spooky story, but, it all played out exactly the way it was destined too. that guy was clearly wacko and insufferable, and that kid was clearly naïve to the point of stupid to be down there. It finally happened and all we can do it stare at the results.

I did have the morbid knee jerk urge to go explore the tunnels though.
