It's like a documentary on yarn that somehow becomes a deep dive on Bernie Madoff.

So it wasn't good? It sounds AMAZING!

Every clip of video game ost concerts I've seen looks terrible. A roomful of "I clapped when I recognized it" nerds who wouldn't shut up cheering in the middle of every song.

It's fun when it's like a little crowd-pleaser inserted into an otherwise normal orchestra program. I wouldn't go to an all-vidya-games-music concert except maybe the Minibosses.

Yeah, it wasn't good. It was long enough ago that the crowd wasn't as terrible as I have to imagine it would be today, so there's at least that.

Mixing the orchestra down to mono and amplifying it through the PA obliterated much of what I find to be the interesting nuance of a live orchestral performance. The synchronized elements were cheesy and unecessary, and the hammy, overwrought electric guitar solo glommed overtop the arrangements were just the worst.
