Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2007-08-18

No words can add to just how brilliant this is.

Xenocide - 2007-08-18

So good it even makes up for the All Your Base joke at the end.

"I know that monkey! His name is donkey!"

Pandatronic - 2007-08-18

One of the few instances where pretending videogames haven't changed since the 80s worked and worked well.

Adramelech - 2007-08-18

No, sorry. That is annoying and stupid in all instances.

coprolalia - 2007-08-19

You're not sorry.

Xenocide - 2007-08-19

You are wrong. Besides, in this case it's obvious that the writers are aware of newer games, but choosing to focus on older ones for the sake of not losing half the audiance.

Pandatronic - 2007-08-19

Well, considering when this was made it would probably be bunch of Crash Bandicoot and Pokemon jokes if they had stuck to modern games. At least with sticking to older games that are universally recognized they made sure it would remain relevant rather than dated in the next few years.

"All right. It's Saturday night. I have no date, a two liter bottle of Shasta, and my all-Rush mix tape."

Fry is my kind of everyman.
