K Clobber - 2007-11-03 That's because he's gay. Publicly, all his focus was on getting the prissy spoiled rich girl he had nothing in common with. She started out unattainable, was even more so once he became Batman. She was a beard. The best kind of beard because he didn't have to fuck her. If he were straight, he would have gone after the hot black sidekick girl - smart, sexy, cool, and trustworthy - she knew all his secrets. She was the better choice all around, and the more pragmatic one. Also she was interested.
I'm convinced that if this show had gone on a few more years, we would have seen Terry come to terms with his homosexuality. No misunderstanding: I'm not disparaging the boy. His orientation had no bearing on his merits as a superhero.
Also I'm only responding to the part about being late for a date. He's whiny because he's a kid, not because he's a fruit.
