By now it's obvious that Larry David carried Seinfeld single-handedly.

He also chews out a bee version of Larry King in the bee movie. Mostly by taking the joke "did you know there's a human guy who's EXACTLY like you?" and running it into the ground.

...the tickets were free, shut up.

Have ya ever notice this YouTube thing? What's the deal on Internet videos? It's like a guy can't give a racist rant in a comedy club or take a little ego bruising anymore without everyone uploading the clip thinking they're regular Howard Hawks! It's a little embarrassing to be perfectly frank with you. No one is uploading their family videos from last Thanksgiving when Uncle Geoff came out of the closet at the dinner table - not that there's anything wrong with that!

Oh yeah... and 5 stars for soul nudity!

I'm sort of in the middle with this...
On one hand, I hate Larry King, on the other hand, Jerry Seinfeld continues to get more and more Sunset Boulevard.

Bee movie looks terrible too, by the by. I saw the making of it special on HBO and its basically Jerry and each actor in a voice studio doing their lines and Jerry is cracking up at his own writing, which is not funny at all. Each actor keeps conspicuously mentioning how great it is to work with the master, and that Jerry is in full control so when it flops they don't get this stinker pinned on them.

Even on the Daily Show, Jerry is a giant dick... when he should be humbled by the New Jew, Jon Stewart. And in this clip, he's obviously still living in his glory days -- meanwhile, Larry David won't even discuss Seinfeld, except in passing jokes.

Funny thing is, from the way Larry asked the question, it seems obvious he knew this and was more offering Jerry a presumably appreciated to chance to brag. ("They didn't cancel you. You canceled them.")

Yeah, he's an asshole.

I didn't give it five stars because Jerry made me uncomfortable.

Jason Alexander seems to have handled things pretty well.

Incidentally, given the right circumstances I could see Larry David giving this exact same response only with a COMPLETELY different delivery. And it would be amazing.

It's clear Larry is just trying to set the stage here, and establish basic facts for the viewer, but Seinfeld is too much of a vicious, defensive cunt to appreciate even that.
