Various groups have been at this for years.
It makes little sense to do, even from a conspiratorial/hidden science perspective. If you're from that school of thought, obviously you're going to believe that there is a massive cover-up ongoing and you'll be monitored, arrested or killed by lizardmen rather than just sailing right in. Also Byrd's work, etc..
I also like how an inner earth/underworld is a feature of virtually every ancient mythology and world religion in existence and the one example they pull up is Roslyn Chapel New Age pap.

I love how Brooks progresses from science to theory to complete assumption to moonbat to Rosslin Chapel.

I want a modern day League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with Brooks Agnew, David Icke, the Project Grizzly guy, the Time Cube guy, and Whitley Streiber. I could think of a few others to add.
Also, THE GREATEST GEOGRAPHICAL EXPEDITION IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.

"There were geometrical forms for which an Euclid could scarcely find a name -- cones of all degrees of irregularity and truncation; terraces of every sort of provocative disproportion; shafts with odd bulbous enlargements; broken columns in curious groups; and five-pointed or five-ridged arrangements of mad grotesqueness."

Gravity centers in the crust. OK. Cool.
|
Gamara II - 2007-12-21 And water coats the inside surface, since we all know water behaves according to its own special laws of gravity.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2007-12-21
This is ridiculous. Everyone knows that there's plenty of underground civilizations from Ancient Egypt in the Arctic but a hollow earth? Someone's been spending a little bit too much time with his nitrous oxide.
