The one I'm REALLY looking for is about that. I think it's called "Energy", and features a sad blues/jazz number by a denuded, pollution covered Earth. Ironically it was written by a board member of an oil company, and was probably the best pro-conservation message I ever saw as a child.
Damn it! I worked at a "edutainment" toy store in HS for one Christmas, and we were shilling School House Rock VHS tapes. We ran it on a loop all goddamned day. All I can think of now when hearing these songs is that shitty job.
This is solid gold in the classroom. +5 stars for making my job easier and being so damn catchy. If only SHR were still around to make songs about EVERYTHING I teach.
