The Legal_matters sub-menu illustrates my concern with what can happen if we let the Scientology bashing go too far.

The government should intervene in specific cases where individuals may be unduly pressured to give up their basic freedoms (i.e. cult).

Otherwise if people want to hate pharmapsychology and participate in "pay-per-sermons" ...

it's not a big deal to me.

You don't think the COTSB is a real religion, do you? Or that the case you reference has anything more to do with an idiot Texas conservative who found himself a judge one day? And how do you make a comparison between The Sub-Genii and Scientologists? Why, that's like saying Ivan Stang is some sort of L. Ron Hubbard and not some sort of caricatured parody of evangelicals and Hubbard-types.
