i would agree with you, except i've seen the intersection in vancouver, B.C. with starbucks on three of the four corners of the street.

I'm sad that these Daily Show videos never work for me. I think it's because I'm in Canada. Anyone else (specifically people who don't live in the US) have the same problem?

They're specifically blocked in Canada. The reason is The Comedy Network and CTV have exclusive contracts to air The Daily Show material, so Comedy Central is not allowed to air it in Canada.

I'm guessing that this whole thing can be linked back to some retarded decision the CRTC made about broadcasting American shows in Canada.
