I'd get out of the car for that much money, too.

halon - 2008-04-10

Who says they don't have minstrel shows any more?

baleen - 2008-04-10

pretty much. don't let sashe frere jones hear you say that though.

kingarthur - 2008-04-10

How is this a minstrel show? Honestly?

King of Balls - 2008-04-10

President of the moon!

Snoop is wonderfully likeable, but unfortunately he looks like a weird slimy dinosaur.

Maggot Brain - 2008-04-10

SEND THAT NIGGA TO SPACE!

Zhou Fang - 2008-04-10

rape dollars glasses.

Crucifried - 2008-04-10

Tons more enjoyable than it has any right being.

Flux - 2008-04-10

I find Snoop's most endearing characteristic to be the apparent utter sincerity of his appreciation for what he owes George.

Frank Rizzo - 2008-04-10

So not only does he steal his music (sampling), but he steals his comedy bits from David Letterman.

no originality whatsoever.

kingarthur - 2008-04-10

OH NOES! SAMPLING IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM REQUIRES ANY TALENT WHATSOEVER AND ANYONE WHO USES THE LEAST BIT OF SAMPLED MATERIAL TO CREATE A NEW PIECE OF MUSIC MUST BE AN INCOMPETENT, LAZY THIIIIIIIEEEEEEEFFFFFF! AND NO WHITE GROUP EVER EVER EVER TOOK ANY INSPIRATION OR BORROWED RIFFS, VERSES, AND PROGRESSONS FROM ANY BLACK MUSICIANS EVER!

Musicians borrow and use each other's shit ALL THE TIME, Frank. Get over yourself. So long as you pay what you owe, no harm no foul...in fact, that's how ASCAP and BMI deal with it.

Allright Frank. Go buy yourself a copy of Ableton and let's see what you come up with. Keep in mind you'll have to rap it as well.

Also: most people tend not to use samples these days, or if they do, they make sure to use non-exclusive royalty free ones. Reason being: a lot of record contracts allowed for sampling, but stipulated you sampled from their stable of artists, meaning the record company who owned the rights and had usually screwed a lot of those old artists out of their mechanical royalties got to double dip on collecting part of YOUR mechanical royalties from the sample.

There's now such a thing as a rap songwriter...at least for the music end of things.

Corman's Inferno - 2008-04-10

This is the show Lee and Chatman did before Wonder Showzen. Apparently Snoop was up for any comedy bit as long as he could wear a crazy wig.

Camonk - 2008-04-10

They should've stuck with this. This is actually funny.

Cube - 2008-04-10

I remember when this started airing on MTV. It was one of the few shows that I could relate to in the midst of all the middle-class white kid -shows.

ztc - 2008-04-11

You reckon this isn't a show for middle-class white kids?

KnowFuture - 2008-04-11

TIE: Snoop in the Mr. Dizzle getup vs. cop being beat up by skinny white girls and a little kid.

Dirtchamber - 2008-09-15

Snoop Dogg is the only reason I would ever go to Arby's.
