if you ask me (and good on you for doing so) this is just a hokey commercial to sell (i guess) chips to tweens. i don't see anything derogatory here. have i missed something?

I think its racism from the perspective of pacific islanders or alaskan natives.

It's a bizarro-racism you get when you mix hip-hop culture and THUG LIFE 4 EVA with the advertiser's desire to not offend any one race and appeal to everybody. Like in Saint's Row, where the generic mexican gang had people of every race.
