Jason Beghe is a "celebrity"?

Oh well, it's a start.

Jimmy The Headless Frog Boy - 2008-04-16

The guy does have over 60 credits on IMDB, so I guess he does count as a celebrity

SARS - 2008-04-16

Jason WHO??

Frank Rizzo - 2008-04-16

BEGHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Jeriko-1 - 2008-04-16

If you were so smart how'd you fall for that bullshit to begin with?

baleen - 2008-04-16

How come people do things that are self-destructive garsh.
What scientologists do is take advantage of people with extreme but very particular psychological vulnerabilities, whether it be megalomania and OCD. These people are often very successful in their careers, and the genius of Scientology is that they use very old cult tactics of indoctrination and fleecing for a very particular, often very well off type of person.

This guy is right. Most scientologists think they are right and they want to help, but then, most people who scream at you for spilling coffee on their Alfa Romeo probably think their reaction to your failure as a human being is completely justified.

baleen - 2008-04-16

that should teach me to write comments at 3am on zero sleep.

Billy Buttsex - 2008-04-16

It's okay, Baleen. My girlfriend still thinks you're a hero or something. She said we should meet up with you at Linda's.

I told her I might have to give you a wedgie.

Dr. Smooth - 2008-07-10

Billy, by "she" do you really mean "he"?

hentaiwolf - 2008-04-16

Not exactly the most convincing commentary. Not that I ever needed convincing.

DerangedGoblin - 2008-04-16

What the... That's Tom Cruise's sweater!

jesustweak - 2008-04-16

"I'm declared clear as a fucking bell, I went clear twice!"
"Ha Ha Ha - Ha Ha Ha"

Xenocide - 2008-04-16

So how long until his mysterious disappearance?

Dinky Patterson - 2008-04-16

Too obvious.

How long until the skeletons from his personal file are paraded on the internet?

This gets five stars because I had to google him and check out his actor's resume. I saw some of the things he was in, but I still don't recognize him. This is memorable, though.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-04-16

I understood...some of those words.

kelpfoot - 2008-04-16

This is only slightly less insane than Tom Cruise.

Quad9Damage - 2008-04-16

Protesters on his lawn in 3... 2... 1...

GoneGirl - 2008-04-16

I think the most convincing evidence, for me, that Scientology is a cult is that you need a fucking Crazy-to-English glossary to understand what any of the former members say.

Enjoy - 2008-04-16

Scientology is such a house of cards. I'm just waiting for the whole thing to collapse.

chumbucket - 2008-04-16

he swears a whole fuckin' lot

HURF BLURF DUH - 2008-04-16

I've been thinking for a while: What if Travolta or Cruise or some other major celeb Scientologist comes to their senses and comes out denouncing the whole thing? Would they get murdered or what? Sadly, this guy doesn't really fit the bill so we'll have to wait a little longer to find out.

coprolalia - 2008-04-16

Graphic gay sex stories come out of the audit records.

Rudy - 2008-04-16

He makes a lot of good motherfucking points. I'll do some more motherfucking research about this fucking subject. Thanks for fucking submitting this.

StanleyPain - 2008-04-16

I guess we'll see where this goes.

Serious question though: both current and former Scientologists always talk about how high level members are "out there doing stuff." And I've heard this referred to a lot, that they are somehow helping humanity and pulling people from burning buildings and randomly showing up to help old ladies across the street and that kind of portrayal. Where does this come from when it's such obvious bullshit? Exactly how are these people "out there helping humanity?" What, just by trying to get other people to join? Is that what they mean?

coprolalia - 2008-04-16

Sounds like someone needs a Touch Assist™.

Juice Eggs McKenna - 2015-06-09

If you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth.

Testicles of Doom - 2008-04-16

Any person who is in "Home Alone 4" is not, repeat NOT, a celebrity.
