The cat just finds it amusing. Screaming frogs do not scare away cats!
That cat was used advanced fucking-with techniques and 100% of it's brainpower for a minute to come to that conclusion. And it only holds true for that particular frog.
IMHO, the most unsettling scream so far.

The frog's cries fill me with pathos
That frog's in trouble if that cat starts getting bored.
The way I see this, the frog's shrieking is enough to quell the common household cat's neurotic instinct to kill any creature it can hold still with its paws.
