The perfect combination to the tag "More Anime that doesn't suck". A broken image link

Xenocide - 2008-07-12

More films where nerdy girls are unstoppable action heroes, please.

coprolalia - 2008-07-12

I WOULD WALK A MILE FOR BORING GIRLS

Xenocide - 2008-07-12

Nerdy is the opposite of boring. You have no idea.

coprolalia - 2008-07-30

It's a song. You'd like it.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-07-12

For the sake of accuracy, I am requesting that you change the tag "bibliomania" to "bibliophilia."

takewithfood - 2008-07-14

Heh, I'd say there's a case for bibliomania, but I think in retrospect you're right.

DMKA - 2008-07-12

"Anime that doesn't suck"

Oxymoron.

coprolalia - 2008-07-12

No, anime blows.
Counterclockwise, see, like fan settings.

tamago - 2008-07-12

DMKA is an Internet Badass.

Seriously, why the fuck do you vote on these? You hate anime, we get it. Your tough guy "I hate anime" antics do little to convince me you don't swallow massive amounts of semen daily.

The five stars are for both the video and to balance out DMKA superb display of stupidity. Since I doubt he even watched this.

tamago - 2008-07-12

I also wish I could give this another five stars for the opening theme.

Aoi - 2008-07-12

Five starring to counter DMKA's one star, ho ho.

Monchiles Monchiles - 2008-07-12

I like anime but I'm in the "How does this not suck?" club on this one.

MYNAME - 2008-07-12

Five stars for creative use of the definite article throughout.
Five more for Drake's Big Lucky.
Minus five for where are the other two parts?

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2008-07-12

Read or Die was great fun and had a swanky soundtrack, but I always felt there was something missing from it.

Then I look at the gigantic crap pile that was the TV series and decide that this is fluff, but five-fucking-star fluff.

SolRo - 2008-07-12

fivu stals!

kelpfoot - 2008-07-12

WRYYYYYY

Udderdude - 2008-07-13

Sucks.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-07-13

I'm a hated, joykilling asshole, and even though I've been coming here for one and a half months (ONE AND A HALF MONTHS! THAT IS A LONG TIME!), I still don't understand why people upload those Japanese cartoons that True Forced Toughguys loudly proclaim suck, without a single excuse, claim, or rational explanation to back themselves up, and since I parrot what people who act cool and jaded on the internet say, obviously I'm only giving it one star.

Now how do these ranking bubble-things work?

Mostly Pi - 2008-07-13

Are you new to the internet too? That's half the reason internet people get up in the morning; to bitch about something in a public forum, in the most antagonistic way possible.
It’s called trolling. I'll break it down for you.
1. Troll locates post concerning hobby, etc. They then determine whether or not the poster seems really into it, enough so that they would be offended if someone spoke poorly of their stated interest (gauging the person's psychological state at the same time, to see if they are potentially what is termed a "lolcow") If the troll evaluates that they will produce sufficient lulz, they move on to step two.
2. Troll begins spamming the thread/chat room/ forum/etc with bitter, intentionally ignorant diatribes. Good trollers will do some research on the target’s habitual online stomping grounds (aka stalking) and find a place with a heavy saturation of similar-minded people that the target hangs out at, to maximize the lulz harvest.
3. At this point, the target will respond in a few different ways. Ideally, they will turn out to be a lolcow, lashing out and simultaneously exposing their pink underbelly of mental instability at the same time. Once they have, the troll will continue to barrage their place of E-residence with retarded, aggressive crap in order to bring forth more of the creamy, delicious rage and psychosis lolcows are famous for. It is not uncommon (and often recommended, in cases where a troll hopes to lay siege to a populated theme-based forum) for groups of trolls to gather together at the same place, to provide backup for one another and partake in what could be colloquially termed a internet tip-drill. If it is determined that the target is simply too level-headed to respond to the attack in an epically lulzy way, the troll(s) may simply disengage or hang around a bit, to sharpen their skills against a difficult opponent. This inability to understand that the attack is over is generally regarded as weakness in the troll by other trolls, and evidence that the straggling troll might be an untapped, future source of lulz. Survival of the fittest and all that.
4. If lulz are to be had, the trolls will stay and feed until the lulz begin to dry up (ie, the poster or board members get used to the trolling, or make their forums member only so that the trolls cannot access the creamy, delicious lulz contained therein). The troll, or trolls will then resume wandering the vast plains of the internet in search of new prey.
Portal of Evil is a strange beast to troll, simply because, at our heart we’re all bitter old twisted antediluvian trolls ourselves, who, like the Vikings once did, settled down and began living a more civilized life. We still, however, enjoy handing people’s shit back to them all thoroughly ruined and, being old hands at trolling, are pretty adept at fucking someone shit up at a moment’s notice (unless they’re /b/. You can’t beat /b/.) On the other hand, there are blighted ghettos in POE, filled with furries and anime fans, which were too tough or stupid to stop hanging around and ended up making their homes in POE (aka, our Jews). Occasionally a youngish troll, still flush with the desire to do battle will stop by a submission thread to do a little persecuting. It’s generally pretty anemic and sad, because most of us are old farts who won’t expend the energy needed to fuel the fire, as trolling is a young man’s game. That’s what you’re seeing here.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-08-16

I wonder if anyone was dumb enough to read all of that.

takewithfood - 2008-07-14

Sorry about the lack of parts 2 and 3, gang: the multi-part submission wasn't working and even trying to get the rest up made a mess of the hopper. Some better links:

Part 2 of 3:

I'm glad some people gave it a try and enjoyed it.
