No, it couldn't also be that people like Ann Coulter ignore science and reason for fear based politics or that people like Rush and Michelle choose to say things that aren't exactly based in fact or support free speech or the separation of church and state. You're right, there could be nothing to do with the neocon's willingness to legislate morality and spend ridiculous amounts of money on a pointless war in spite of them supposedly being anti big government.

Michelle Malkin's never resorted to namecalling!

I know Buttsex is a chickenhawk troll, but it's worth mentioning here that, among other things, Malkin was the one who published the home address of a college student protesting Army recruitment on campus in her column, effectively insinuating that her "readers" do something about it, at which point the student started getting endless death threats. Malkin refused to take the information off her blog until eventually law enforcement got involved, if I remember correctly.

Malkin has a long history of being behind "accidental" and not-so-accidental public reveals of the home addresses of many people in the news that have been critical of Bush or have linked themselves to Democrat causes. Not always on her own website, but it seems that in many cases, when she gets involved in something, eventually someone's address gets leaked. (like, for example, the home address of Graeme Frost, the 12-year old kid who had been in a coma, and who gave a Democratic radio address in favor of the SCHIP program. Malkin helped get his family's home address out and then attempted to illegally uncover financial information about them under the guise of "proving" they had taken funds from SCHIP to buy a new car and re-finance their house. Not, you know, fund healthcare for their 12 year old in a coma.)

As has been mentioned, the guy yelling at her is conservative, if perhaps hovering on the lunatic fringe himself. Billy knows this because Billy posted one of his rambling bullshit 'documentaries' not too long ago. This is the sound of conservatives cannibalizing themselves because Malkin's positions are dumb as a sack of fucking stones. She's just another rabid thug, and she spit on the Reagan administration by justifying Japanese internment in WWII in one of her books.

Too batshit even for most conservatives, she has managed to alienate most of her collleagues and get fired from most of her columns.

Aside from all this, "intellectual tolerance" is a made-up code term for "disagree but shut up about it".

Billy, I am routinely harassed and I have my life threatened by Republicans who feel that I am somehow a traitor to my country. There is one guy (an ape named George who's daddy faught in nam and who is in the oil business and thinks we should carpet bomb everything) who actually wants to *kill me*. When was the last time a liberal blew up a building like in say, Oklahoma City (I'll answer it: it was back during Vietnam)? A health clinic? You are the ones that bomb things these days, you've got a nice monopoly on the art. Just because you don't leave the house and have no concept of what America is really like doesn't mean "liberals have no sense of intellectual tolerance."
