Man, I talk some shit about South Park sometimes, but I have to admit I love it when it's just having fun with the characters and not trying to be a ridiculously earnest PSA for Libertarianism.
Camonk - 2008-09-01 Yeah when they play to their core strengths--swearing and over-the-top violence--the show is actually watchable. Of course, it's been utterly supplanted by Aqua Teen, Sealab 2021, and especially Metalocalypse but there you go.
mr666 - 2008-09-01 The most important difference between Sealab and South Park, though, is that while they both have bad animation South Park is funny.
Xenocide - 2008-09-02 Early Sealab was hilarious due to the presence of Harry Goz in the cast. After he died, the show became worthless.

Quick, set the time machine for the last time South Park was good: Nevuary 32nd, 19-Theta-five

This and Terrence & Philip singing that "chicken and lamb" song in their first TV appearance in the early 60s constitute two of my favorite musical things from South Park.
