This is pretty much one of the best things everyone involved with this ever did. It looks a little dated and a little cheesy now, but holy crap is that last bit great.

i for one, sir, will follow your lead, and do what others have failed to do before you. i will start using the "inevitable comment flame war" tag.

Fake. You can tell this is faked. That guy doesn't look at all like Malcolm X. And I know guns, and they don't sound like that. This is totally shopped. And X was killed by Zionists, not the NWA like it shows there.

HankFinch - 2008-09-08

please don't

and yet you never have. It lies there still, dormant, awaiting resurrection at the hands of someone more evil and desperate than you, who won't understand the power of what he unleashes.

I dread the day.

Ahhh man I remember the early nineties when all the brothers were sporting "X" baseball caps and t-shirts.

Jeff Fries - 2008-09-08

I remember when your mom wore one and a helicopter tried to land on her.

Hooper_X - 2008-09-08

I also remember this. Growing up in a small southern town, there were a fair number of black kids in "X" shirts around town, and a roughly equivalent number of white kids in t-shirts with the Confederate Battle Flag on them, with the clever caption "YOU WEAR YOUR X, I'LL WEAR MINE."

Nothing ever directly came of it. People wore their t-shirts and it wasn't a big deal.

Carv noooo why Carver why

Thatcher Pennywhistle - 2008-09-07

This is the best thing Spike Lee will ever do and it's still not a very good movie.

Thatcher Pennywhistle - 2008-09-07

Oh shit! Bunk? Bunk? Why would you be a part of something like this?

StanleyPain - 2008-09-07

I'm not a big fan of Spike Lee, but Malcolm X is a really great film and probably the best thing he'll ever do next to maybe Get On The Bus.

StanleyPain - 2008-09-08

Oh and for those unaware, this was his actual eulogy which was really delivered originally by Ossie Davis.

Innocent Bystander - 2008-09-08

Let's cool it brothers.

chumbucket - 2008-09-08

how much of the initial dialogue was actually taken from witness accounts or just Spike Leeisms? "whatcha doin in my pocket nigga??"
+5 for the "I am Spartacus" ending
