the way he talks about his own psychosis is surreal, it's as if he never really ever did those things but read a book about someone who did

King of Balls - 2008-09-26

Jesus Christ, I've never seen anything like this. This guy's totally unbelievable. The whole "brilliant serial killer" thing is generally such a retarded and false cliché, but this guy's manner of speaking about his own behavior, which on paper would definitely lead someone to think of the perpetrator as a drooling psycho, is so contradictory to the nature of his crimes. I wonder whether he was really always so objective about it.

paranex - 2008-09-26

He almost definitely met with psychiatrists and profilers after he was incarcerated, so he had plenty of exposure to the theories of the "brilliant serial killer" that were floating around in the 80's.

King of Balls - 2008-09-26

Yeah, I'm sure you're right, but he doesn't come off as pretentious about his whole situation at all. Chumbucket's comment at the top of the page pretty much says what I wanted to say, now that I think about it.

I really wanna hear more about his shitty date.

132 is considered "genius"?

I sure don't consider myself a genius, and i'm 30 points above that.

This person seems much smarter than me. Or at least more in tune with the reality of what he really is. More cogniscent.

phalsebob - 2008-09-26

Did you take an internet IQ test? 162 is way past genius level. The only people who score a 'normal' 100 on internet tests are complete tards.

baleen - 2008-09-26

160 is pretty genius. My IQ is 135, which puts me 3 points past coed dismemberment level. Certainly, I may appear to be a charming maker of youtube blog parodies, but what am I really like...

a flaming monkey - 2008-09-26

everyone on PoeTV is a genius, musician, astrophysicist, entrepreneur, serial killer. It's a fact. No exceptions.

a flaming monkey - 2008-09-26

Furthermore, my IQ is one trillion and a half and I don't consider myself a serial killer. This Ed Kemper guy seems much more of a serial killer than me.

CharlesSmith - 2008-09-26

132 is considered gifted, or it might be a few points below. I forget what a standard deviation on an IQ test is.

freedoom - 2008-09-26

he seems like a nice guy. I think he's had enough time in prison. i'm going to start a campaign to get him released. assuming he's not dead, i'm too lazy to check wikipedia.

TimbolinoBilchard - 2008-09-26

I had the pleasure of going on a "field trip" to meet him through a community college class. He said he goes before the parole board every time he comes up and says that if released he will kill again. It's probably because he gets some sick satisfaction out of showing that a depraved serial killer can come off as a likeable, well-behaved inmate.

Also, for a guy who's 6'9", with the way he carries himself he comes off as much smaller.

King of Balls - 2008-09-27

Six foot fucking nine. Jesus. Well, at least he's evidently out of shape.

Severian - 2008-09-26

A John Wayne movie and Denny's.

SixDigitDebt - 2010-07-09

A John Wayne Gacy movie, he means.
